GOLD DofE RESIDENTIAL ACTIVITY WEEK
Are you undertaking your Gold DofE? Still searching for the right residential? If you're looking for a week of adventure, challenges, fun, new experiences, learning new skills, meeting new people and
unbeatable scenery, then this could be the one for you.
From the 18th to 24th August we are running a specific residential week for DofE participants, this means that the week is all about you. During this week you will have the opportunity to try a range of activities including but not limited to kayaking, gorge walking and climbing. In addition to this you will also get a real taste of life as an outdoor instructor by supporting and developing all aspects of centre life including centre maintenance. You will learn all kinds of news skills.
The cost of this action packed week is £300 inclusive of food, accommodation, equipment use, and instruction.

CMC Pensarn Harbour is offering capable people wanting to pursue a career in Outdoor Education an opportunity to gain many of the prerequisite personal skill awards in an intensive 8 week training programme. As a centre recognised by the MLTE, BCU/WCA, RYA and AALA we have over 42 years experience working in the outdoors.

First Aid Training

CMC is able to offer First Aid Training for people with an interest in outdoor pursuits. Courses are run under the auspecies of Axiom Training one of the largest independent first aid training organisations in the UK.

CMC Volunteer Trainee Instructors
We offer several voluntary positions to committed Christians who want to develop a career in the outdoors whilst at the same time sharing their faith with those who come to the centre. This helps us keep our course fees as affordable as possible for our guests and provides an opportunity for enthusiastic young Christians to launch a career in the outdoors. CMC has over forty years of experience in running outdoor courses and prides itself on the highest of standards. Got what it takes?
Single Pitch Award
Single Pitch Training and Assessment courses
A two day highly practical course covering all aspects of the syllabus in a variety of real rock climbing venues around North Wales as well as a visit to a climbing wall. Prior to the course you must register with your home nation Mountain Training Board eg. Mountain Leader Training Wales and have an appropriately completed logbook.

We are able to offer personal outdoor activity tuition in your chosen activity. Working with one of our highly experienced instructors you will have the opportunity to develop the skills that you wish to at a pace that suits you.
