Our centres at Pensarn Harbour & Bryn-y-Moel are set in fantastic locations: nestled in between the vast unspoilt beaches of the Cambrian coast and the wild beauty of the Rhinog mountain range, the centres are truly set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

Pensarn Harbour is an ideally situated residential outdoor pursuits centre on the waterfront of the river Artro estuary, enabling water sports activities to take place on site.  Bryn-y-Moel is just 3/4 mile from the Harbour and set in 11 acres of beautiful secluded woodland.  Rock Climbing, Archery and Orienteering are available on site.  Both centres are within walking distance of the stunning Llandanwg and Harlech beaches. Mountain based and rock climbing activities are just a short minibus ride away.

Established in 1966 CMC has been, for 45 years, providing high quality outdoor residential courses and adventure holidays for many different types of groups, including schools, church groups, youth groups and families.

CMC can accommodate up to 100 people residentially across two sites. All the centre rooms are en suite, and there is full central heating throughout.  At Pensarn Harbour the downstairs ensuite accommodation is suitable for people who use wheelchairs, our Bryn-y-Moel centre has one wheelchair accessible room.  CMC offers home cooked meals, warm accommodation and a friendly, highly trained staff team.

CMC Pensarn Harbour is an Adventurous Activity Licensing Authority approved centre. (Registration number L5103/R0191)  We are also a Mountain Leader Training England approved training centre a Royal Yacht Association recognised training centre and a Canoe Wales approved training centre.  CMC Pensarn Harbour is also a member of the Institute for Outdoor Learning, we pride ourselves on the highest standards of outdoor education and training.
